This morning our Year 10 prefects have been working alongside our Year 7 students on a number of fun challenges. Students have been given marshmallows and dried spaghetti and tasked with building the tallest tower, alongside constructing origami models, and answering a general knowledge quiz.

Student Bobby said that his groups strategy with the tower was to “build a sturdy base at the bottom, and then less sturdy as they reached the top.” Year 10 student Elizabeth, said that her team’s strategy was to build their model “in a triangular shape for stability.”

The students were highly engaged in their exercises and really enjoy the experience of working with different year groups.
