Aim and Main Purpose of the Job:

To work under the direction of the Site Manager to be responsible for the general maintenance, cleanliness and security of the school and to maintain premises (both internally and externally) in a clean, safe, sound and secure condition for staff, pupils, parents and community users.

Occasional weekend overtime and holiday cover will be required, together with some evening shifts.

You should be able to demonstrate empathy with pupils and be sympathetic to their needs, professionally discrete with good communication skills and a team worker.  You should also possess good numeracy and literacy skills.

The Geography Department is made up of 3 teachers including the Head of Department. The department is equipped with 3 teaching spaces and a large staff area. All students at KS3 receive three lessons of Geography over their two-week timetable. Geography is a popular option in Key Stage 4.
