The Hurst School PTA

We are group of volunteer parents who work together to raise extra funds for the school through a variety of fun and creative initiatives and events. We also support the school by providing refreshments at school events.

Our aim is to improve the educational experience for all children at The Hurst. School budgets are extremely tight, so any money we raise will help provide additional educational resources requested by teachers, and fund fun activities for the students. Our main fundraiser is our Summer Fete, which is always a great event.

This year we have paid for the following:

• £300 for new atlases for Geography
• £350 for GCSE ready pencil cases for Pupil Premium students
• £400 for new reading books in the school library
• £300 for new audio-visual equipment for the Music and Drama departments
