Being employed in the Education sector for over 30 years in teaching, programme design, quality assurance and management has provided opportunities for me to work happily and creatively alongside people of all ages and abilities. My teaching roles have encompassed the design and delivery of English, Maths, ICT and Special Needs Life Skills education, as well as apprenticeships and FE funded programmes within the Offender Learning sector and NHS. This role at The Hurst gives me the opportunity to draw upon previous experiences of working at an FE college, alongside local and national employers and an apprenticeship provider, to create a dynamic and engaging careers programme that supports our young people in the choices they need to take on leaving school. |
