April 7th marked the return of music concerts at The Hurst. A full hall enjoyed performances from students across all year groups, covering a wide range of instruments and musical genres.

The evening kicked off with Mrs Long's ukulele groups, accompanying a selection of students singing different songs. The audience enjoyed some solo vocal performances ranging from contemporary pop to musical theatre pieces, accompanied by Mr Lines on piano. Small ensembles of upper strings, woodwind, and guitar displayed the variety of instrumental skill at The Hurst.

The evening was closed with an acoustic cover of 'How To Save A Life' by a mixed Y10 and Y9 band (yet to decide on a name).

We thank all the students involved and parents for their continued support of music instrumental study both in school and out. For those interested in starting study of an instrument at school, please click here
